We are working with a financial services organization that is looking to hire a top-notch SEC Reporting Manager. Our firm, MR Dominion, specializes specifically in banking placing CFO’s, Chief Accounting Officers, Controllers, Treasurers, etc. in Community, Super Community, and Small Regional Banks Nationwide.
If you are an Accounting and Finance Professional and have 7+ years of experience either in a Public Accounting Firm auditing Large Community and Small Regional Banks or have been an Assistant Controller, SEC Reporting Manager, or Accounting Policy Manager in a financial services setting this could be an excellent opportunity for you.

Reporting to a solid Chief Financial Officer, this is an excellent time to join this organization as they add bench strength, build infrastructure, with an eye toward growing and expanding. The SEC Reporting Manager is going to be relied upon to be a significant part of that stability and future growth based both on their tactical/strategic impact on the organization including overseeing all Accounting Operations and all Regulatory Reporting activities within this organization. This is a corporate level position, so in addition to bank accounting activities, other business line knowledge including mortgage, insurance, and broker dealer experience is highly desired.
Key drivers to success in this role includes being very well versed on US GAAP, SEC and Regulatory Reporting and Filing, General Ledger, and in general having a solid understanding of all things operational accounting focused within a bank setting. Successfully supervising a tenured, cohesive staff is an important part of being successful in this role. This position requires great interpersonal skills, strong presentation skills, decisiveness, attention to detail, and overall leadership skills in helping take this accounting team to the next level. There is also an element of succession planning in this role, which many will find compelling.
